Even though a nameless peak above Mavrovo ski resort appears small compared to surrounding 2000 m giants, it offers an opportunity for a quick skialp trip, completing skiing activities in Mavrovo. Just finish your skiing an hour or two before closing the resort and you can make at least one downhill.

Mt. Shasta is the highest volcano in California and popular backcountry destination in Northern California which provides a lot of various terrains for skiers at any level. This year California experiences serious lack of snow, so Mt. Shasta is one of the few reasonably accessible places one can ski this spring.

A snow avalanche in BC at Dhaulagiri (8167 m) had killed Ján Matlák and Vladimír Švancar
A lot of fresh snow in the last few days in Himalaya had caused a lot of huge avalanches. One of these avalanche was self-released in the central Nepal in the are of the seventh highest peak Dhaulagiri at 10.30 p.m. in Oct 14th. The debris of this avalanche had covered base camp of the Slovak-Czech skialpinism-climbing expedition Dhaulagiri 2014.

Story of Kejda Ski Team, Vol. 2 - Ski adventure on Moskenesoya, Lofoten
After warming up in High Tatras Kejda Ski Team Vol. 1 there had came time for some more exotic destination in 2013 – Lofoten. Lofoten Islands – deep placid fjords, jagged rocky peaks, polar light and great undiscovered potential for extreme skiing – we knew that well thanks to our frequent summer visits of Northern Norway when we were traveling behind the arctic circle because of first ascents in many bigwalls in magnificent northern wilderness. Ski runs from alpine-looking peaks end on sandy beaches! We were sure about that!
Ski Kamchatka 2013 - first ski descend from volcano Bakening (2278 m)
First days of May during the trip Ski Kamchatka 2013 – overview of our activities in April-May 2013 we spent in the area of volcano Bakening (2278 m). According to known sources, we were the first skiers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in this area. We reached the summit in a group of eight people and followingly skied down.
Girls' trip to volcano Gorelyj (1892 m) at Kamchatka in July 2013
Our group consisting of four girls and three dogs had started the trip to volcano Gorelyj (1892 m) on Friday, July 19 / just after the end of work. We approached pass near volcano Viljučinskij (2173 m) at about 6 p.m., little descended and set up our camp next to two lakes.
