I started in November 11, 2009 this winter season (Beginning of ski season in Slovenian ski resort Krvavec). It could be interesting to visit the same place at the end of ski season. Finishing work in Ljubljana on Friday April 30 in the afternoon we stayed for a moment at Krvavec, where we walked shortly and on skins. We skied one short couloir and sk-slope.
South slopes of Krvavec are almost out of snow

Journey to Krvavec was not the optimistic one due to the fact, that from far view it looks completely out of snow. On arrival we found out that the snow is missing only in the lowest part of ski-resort, whereas in the upper part there were enough snow. We walked just about ten minutes by feet, and then we step on our skis with skins and continued on snow.
There were only one place without snow, I took skis away
Weather was fantastic – no wind and temperature around 20 C. Ideal dress consisted of shorts and T-shirt. We continued from the beginning of snow along restaurant and via upper ski slopes to the summit of Krvavec. We directly continued to the main summit Zvoh (1970 m). We met local turist there and we talked with him in combination of Slovenian-Czech-English-Russian words and sentences. He knew a lot of Czech words and precisely cited from Dobrý voják Švejk.
Three paragliders started from the summit of Krvavec
Near the summit lake at Zvoh local sixty year old skialpinist was sunbathing. He said, that he is already retired and he has seven sports, it means one per day all the week. My colleague just added: „I would like to be in the same position at the age of 60“.
Near the summit of Krvavec, Zvoh is just near
Behind Zvoh we continued shortly on the ridge. We chose shorter couloir
oriented SW. The cover layer of snow was very soft and just with two turns
middle part of couloir glided down. We skied down very carefully not to start
other snow glide or avalanche.
The last part to reach Zvoh
We finished skiing above the narrowest part and climbed back to the ridge and followingly to Zvoh. From Zvoh we skied down on ski slope, climb to Krvavec and ski on ski slope to the end of snow. We packed everything fastly and drove to Blatiny, where there were GO Alpina from Thursday.
At the summit of Zvoh, shorts are just perfect dress for such
conditions
We met one turist, one skialpinst (anothe one skied down before our arrival), three paragliders and one guy with „rogallo“ in the area of Krvavec during Friday afternoon.
Perfect talk with Slovenian multisport skialpinist at Zvoh
Fantastic peaks and a lot of snow everywhere around, perfect conditons for
skialpinism
The second turn and snow starts to glide down
In the lower part of couloir, there is moving snow in the middle
Jump turn
Here we end our skiing as just below as the couloir became to be very narrow
and rocky
