Last Sunday before Christmas, December 19th we have been motivated by the celebration of Vseta's birthday to to for other skiing day. Thus, we went in the area of Radhost's massive. Vseta was very optimistic about powder snow and that's why we got up early in the morning. And we did not regret.
Older bruder in the traverse below Certuv Mlyn
We parked car in the walley to Pustevny and we waited for a bus for about 20 minutes. The bus was completely overcrowded, there were a big dog, a lot of cross-country skiers and classical skiers. There were also hogo-fogo freeride group, one of the member fired cigarrete just at the exit from the bus.

somewhere here
At the hotel Tanečnica we put skins on our skis and started on a „highway“ in the direction to Knehyne. At the crossroads we continued on red tourist mark and we traversed below Čertův Mlýn (1205 m). From the saddle we climbed up to Knehyne. There were a great view from the summit was to the Lysa Hora (1323 m) and Smrk (1276 m).
Všeťa climbing to Knehyne
From the top the descent was through fairly dense forest in an incredible amount of powder. We reached the path and climbed up again on the summit ridge and the Čertův Mlýn (1205 m). Again the first few tens of meters of skiing were in denser vegetation, below the terrain was totally overblown with an ideal slope stepness and perfect snow. We skied down to the path and we climbed to Pustevny. We ate garlic soup without garlic and continued along the ridge to the statue of Radegast. From there began the final descent to the valley.
Beginning of pain for younger bruder, his knees don't like this
position
We have three ski descents during the Sunday, two of them excellent with the powder snow in several areas up to waist. It was a pity, that the temperature increased significantly on Monday…
