Five ladies from Frydek-Mistek and surrounding starts to Zlatnik on Saturday Feb 14. Four of us are mothers of small children, we have to promise to our husbands that we will be back at home at about midday.

We starts from Zlatník at 8 a.m. There is about 20 cm of new snow in last 24 hours. We are not hurrying up and after by-way we have short break for tea. We have continued through the forest and in front of Zimný I take an anorak and ski googles. I tried to drink a little, but tube from camelbag is completely frozen. Others were just near, so I continued to the summit.

Weather got worse from Zimný, fog is stronger and wind is extreme. Girls are somewhere behing and visibility is only up to 20 meteers. In the higher part I have to do new trace.

It is 9:32 a.m., when I have reached the summit of Lysá Hora, time is bad, but today it was just relaxation. Temperature is –10 °C. I called home, and Jura is scolding me for slow time.

Downhill in perfect dust snow was excellent. We are all smiling for the great trip. Returning back we are already planning next trips.
